The Beauty of a Rape Scene
Love is a lost word
So stop searching
Hope is a broken road
So stop struggling
Feel your everything, losing
As they unleashed
Their hidden passions
Crawl, beg
Gasp for every breath
Scream, Run
'Coz there will be no help
It's all man for himself
So fall into despair
And let the tears fall
As they set loose their threats
There's no savior
So no saving
No freedom
No freeing
Have you seen Macbeth?
Lust for power, betrayer
Here's Shakespeare
Come out and write a poem
It's poetry in motion
All gone wrong
Like a loud commotion
No one knows
So feel your dignity, losing
As they throw their
Broken honor
Crawl, beg
Gasp for every breath
Scream, Run
'Coz there will be no help
It's all man for himself
So fall into despair
And let the tears fall
As they set loose their threats
Remember the Sabines?
Men took them laughing
Now see Picasso play
With you for a day
They're wolves in sheep's clothing
Like a man-like beasts loathing
An artist going astray
A killer going to play
A sinner going to pray
Crawl, beg
Gasp for every breath
Scream, Run
'Coz there will be no help
Da Vinci going to paint
No saving
Edgar going to write
No hoping
Mozart going to sing
No loving
'Coz that's the beauty
The beauty of a rape scene

Took me awhile to rearrange the lyrics with the chords. But here, I fix it.
That line, and the title, 'the beauty of a rape scene', you don't really do much with it, which is not good. To even talk about rape is taboo in most of society, and it is that for a reason. You use the idea you better do something damn impressive with it, or at least make some allusions to Lucretia, or the Sabines, or the great masters painting the one or the other, so it doesn't just sound like your throwing it in for shock value. Classical allusions doesn't make it less hard core, think of the punk mantra, take it, rip it, make it new.
That verse could be something.
